About The Position
Governor Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! Requirements
- 2+ years of veterinary technician experience
- Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of California
- Proficiency in Surgery Assisting
- Proficiency in Dental Prophylaxis
- Proficiency in Dental Extractions
- Proficiency in Client Communication

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
- Ensure an efficient surgical and procedural workflow, anticipating the needs of the veterinary team and patients.
- Communicate with clients to review treatment plans, answer questions, and provide discharge instructions with empathy and clarity.
