Festival Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! Requirements

  • 5+ years of veterinary technician experience
  • Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Colorado
  • Proficiency in the following skills: Client communication and education
  • Proficiency in the following skills: Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in the following skills: Dental prophylaxis, polishing, radiography, and charting
  • Proficiency in the following skills: IVC placement
  • Proficiency in the following skills: Drug calculations and emergency anesthetic intervention
  • Proficiency in the following skills: Surgical assistance
  • Proficiency in the following skills: Outpatient and wellness care

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent patient care during soft-tissue surgical procedures and dentals, including patient preparation, anesthesia induction, monitoring and troubleshooting, recovery, and administering emergency medications as needed.
  • Perform dental prophylaxis, polishing, full-mouth radiographs, and dental charting.
  • Ensure efficient exam room workflow by assisting the veterinarian during outpatient visits, wellness appointments, and technician appointments.
  • Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication.
  • Collaborate closely with your team to deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining a positive, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
