About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients, including in Labor and Delivery and Pediatric units. The position works night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a rotating weekend schedule. The therapist collaborates with healthcare team members, documents patient evaluations and treatments, and participates in quality improvement initiatives while following safety protocols.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery and Pediatric care is required.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification must be obtained at hire or within 90 days.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained at hire or within 90 days.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained at hire or within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services, including patient assessments and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations and treatments.
