Baptist Health is hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a part-time position at Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Requirements

• Certificate required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Florida Respiratory Therapist license required through the Department of Health.

Nice To Haves

• Associate of Science preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with breathing disorders.
• Administer respiratory therapies.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and manage mechanical ventilators for patients requiring respiratory support.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate and support patients on proper breathing techniques, medication usage, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
