About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the lead therapist and department manager, and upon request of the physician, the Registered Respiratory Therapist sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment used in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary disease or illness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a program approved by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Licensed with the state of practice Board for Respiratory Care.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Registered as a therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• BLS/CPR through an American Heart Association-approved course.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of 1–3 years of technical school.
• ACLS Provider certification through an American Heart Association course.
