Requirements
- North Carolina Respiratory License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Nice To Haves
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Responsibilities
- Administering respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitoring patient responses to therapy and making appropriate adjustments.
- Operating and maintaining respiratory support equipment.
- Providing education to patients and families regarding respiratory care.
