About The Position

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in South Austin, TX. The role is in the Respiratory Therapy Department, which serves a 368-bed hospital. Staffing includes 6 to 7 RTs per shift, with a supervisor and 5 or 6 RTs on both day and night shifts. Patient ratios are typically 35-45 Units of Service (UOS). The department utilizes Servo, Hamilton, and Airvo equipment and uses Meditech for Electronic Medical Records.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Texas Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (TX RCP)
• At least one year of adult respiratory therapy experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
