About The Position

Carecor is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) to join their team in the Aurora Area for Transitional Care Unit facilities. Under the direction of the facility charge nurse or registered nurse, the RPN will provide care in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Standards of Practice of Carecor, and the assigned healthcare facility. The role focuses on fostering an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. Each assignment involves working in one facility for a full 8-hour shift. This is a Casual position with flexible shifts.

Requirements

Registered Practical Nurse Diploma
Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) licensure in good standing with the College of Nurse of Ontario
Minimum of 300 hours of experience in a Medical-Surgical, Long-Term Care, or Transitional Care setting within the past two years
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B
Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one year or negative chest x-ray within the past five years
Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
Proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination

Responsibilities
