We offer several levels of care including skilled nursing, post-acute (transitional care), assisted living and home health. You’ll love that you get the support you need here. Focused on quality care our nurse-to-resident/patient ratios makes it easier to give each resident or patient the time they deserve. This role will help you shape your leadership, customer service, and relationship-building skills. We offer education assistance to obtain your BSN and opportunities to move into leadership roles.
Requirements
- Current Texas RN license required
- One year of clinical experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or healthcare facility preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), Point Click Care (PCC) preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of CNAs to ensure the highest degree of quality care at all times.
- Lead the team, set expectations, coach and monitor CNAs while fostering a positive environment and serve as a role model.
- Provide direct care.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Complete admissions.
- Coordinate with other departments for resident/patient services.
- Consult with physicians.
- Serve as liaison with family members.
