About The Position

Join our team as a Registered Nurse on the Transitional Care Unit, a 32-bed unit specializing in nursing care for Stroke, Neurological, Transplant, Orthopedic, and Cardiac patients aged 18 and older. The average patient length of stay is 2-3 weeks, providing an opportunity to connect and build relationships with patients during their recovery journey. We are seeking dedicated RNs to provide exceptional care at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, offering a supportive atmosphere for career growth and lasting impact. This team-oriented unit provides opportunities to manage a wide range of diagnoses and advance nursing skills.

Requirements

• A Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing (BSN or ADN)
• BLS provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for Stroke, Neurological, Transplant, Orthopedic, Cardiac patients ages 18 and older
• Provide exceptional care to patients
• Manage a wide range of diagnoses and advance nursing skills
