About The Position
One (1) temporary part time Registered Practical Nurse opportunity is available on Medicine at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. This position is unionized with UNIFOR, Local 1106.
Requirements
- Current Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Current BCLS certification
- Updated IV course and IV Med Administration – mandatory within 3 months of hire
- Demonstrated Physical Assessment skills
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
- Demonstrated lifelong learner
- Team player
- Satisfactory performance and attendance required
- Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
- Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired
Responsibilities
- Must be available for day, evening and night shifts; as per department schedule
