About The Position

Maysville Community & Technical College is seeking a full-time, 10-month, term contract Registered Nursing Instructor for the Licking Valley (Cynthiana) Campus. This is an on-site position requiring in-person presence. The instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering instruction in both theory and practice for the Nursing program, preparing learning materials, and maintaining student records. The role involves maintaining discipline, staying updated on technical changes in the field, and participating in professional development to enhance teaching skills and technical expertise. Additionally, the instructor will provide follow-up services for student placement, course improvement, and public relations.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Current active, unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Kentucky.
  • Two years full time or equivalent experience as a registered nurse in the hospital setting within the immediate past five years.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising students in the college laboratory and clinical areas associated with the Licking Valley Campus RN Program.
  • Assisting in planning, implementing, evaluating, and updating the program.
  • Providing and participating in National Accreditation duties as assigned for the RN program.
