About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on a nursing unit using the nursing process. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and access to community resources. The role may include other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses. The position is at Wiregrass Ranch Rehab and is a full-time night role. Requirements

Hold a current registered nurse (RN) license in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
Hold current BLS certification.
Provide evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment; BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care.
Participate in interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
Access community resources for patients.
