Registered Nurse for Home Health
About The Position
AdvisaCare is hiring Registered Nurses for its Skilled Nursing team. The team provides intermittent care to Medicare beneficiaries in their homes, often following an inpatient stay for an illness or surgery. The role helps patients recover independence and feel confident managing their lives at home. Nurses educate patients about their disease processes, provide wound care and skilled treatments, perform blood draws, and manage drains, catheters, PICCs, and ostomies. They also evaluate home safety and patient needs, support medication and disease management, connect patients with community resources, and coordinate care with physicians, other providers, caregivers, therapists, and families.
Requirements
- Michigan RN license.
- Michigan driver's license and proof of insurance.
- CPR.
- Critical thinking and task skills.
- Computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of home health experience is preferred.
- ER or critical care experience is a plus.
- OASIS experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
