About The Position
INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time day-shift Registered Nurse for the Ortho Med Surg team at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Staff Registered Nurse manages the delivery and documentation of patient care, including assessment and reassessment, developing plans of care, implementing and evaluating patient-care interventions, and supervising or coordinating other licensed and non-licensed personnel as assigned. The nurse also provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students as appropriate. The position reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Other certifications and competencies required based on the service-line skill.
Responsibilities
- Manage delivery and documentation of patient care.
- Assess and reassess patients.
- Develop plans of care.
- Implement appropriate patient-care interventions.
- Evaluate patient-care interventions.
- Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing care to patients, as assigned.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
- Follow standard precautions in work involving potential exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals.
