About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) works in the Emergency Department, which includes ED Major, ED Minor, Fast Track, and the Clinical Throughput Unit. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients during a shift. The RN is responsible for meeting Standards of Practice, managing assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment on the unit, and promoting collaboration with all members of the health care team.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted Alabama or Multi-State RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Two years of Emergency Department RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• PALS certification.
• TNCC certification.

Responsibilities
