About The Position
Oak Glen Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in its skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Cherry Valley, California. The RN is responsible for resident safety and works with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal outcomes. Oak Glen Post Acute provides 24-hour nursing care and short-term rehabilitation in a patient-centered environment for residents recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. This is a part-time position. The schedule may vary, with weekends and holidays as needed. The hourly pay range is $42.00–$46.00, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF).
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring of residents.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
- Monitor and document resident conditions and promptly report changes.
- Provide wound care, IV therapy, and other skilled nursing interventions.
- Supervise and support LVNs and CNAs to ensure quality care delivery.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams to coordinate services.
- Educate residents and families on care plans and health conditions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and infection control standards.
