About The Position

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Patient Centered Care concepts form the foundation for all nursing care. The position provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team and demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Communication, interpersonal, basic computer, and customer service skills are required. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification at time of hire.
Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
Minimum two years of critical care RN experience.
ACLS by the start date for all nursing units except the nursery; new graduate RNs may obtain it within 90 days of the start date.
For the Women's Center, NRP by the start date; inexperienced L&D nurses may obtain it within 90 days of the start date.
For ICU/PCU, NIH certification within 90 days of the start date.
For ER, PALS and CPI within 90 days of the start date, and NIH within 90 days of the start date.
For PACU, PALS by the start date; inexperienced PACU nurses may obtain it within 90 days of the start date.
Communication, interpersonal, basic computer, and customer service skills.
