Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy
About The Position
Under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric, within the nurse’s competencies and in accordance with established standards and practices. The nurse supports the mission, policies, and procedures of Baptist Health System, completes the position’s established competencies within the designated introductory period, and performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Possess a current Texas State Registered Nurse license or be currently eligible for state board certification.
- Have active healthcare-provider Basic Life Support certification from ARC or AHA upon hire; obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
- Complete AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire or transfer into the role for all Surgical Services areas.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Completion of a peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training course.
- Surgery: CNOR board eligible or certified.
- Post Anesthesia: CPAN board eligible or certified.
- GI Lab: SGNA board eligible or certified.
Responsibilities
