About The Position

Saline Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Endoscopy Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices. The RN helps ensure safe, compassionate, high-quality care throughout the patient experience and works with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals focused on patient-centered care and strong outcomes. The schedule is three 12-hour day shifts, 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Current state or compact state RN license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification or willingness to obtain it within six months.
• PALS certification or willingness to obtain it within six months.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Endoscopy experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
• Document patient care provided.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family as appropriate.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and spiritual or psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate patient and family learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
