About The Position

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking an experienced Full-Time Endoscopy Nurse to join its dynamic team. This role is based in a top-ranked, 182-bed acute care community hospital serving Northern Virginia. The Endoscopy Lab performs a comprehensive range of procedures, including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Endo Bariatric procedures, and Endoscopic Ultrasound Procedures, with over 9,000 procedures performed annually. The hospital is committed to providing safe care, excellent service, and continuously improving patient experiences.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year OR, Endo, PACU or critical care (ICU/ED) nursing experience.
BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate Degree (ADN), must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
BLS Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the AHA is required at hire.
ACLS & PALs for Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the AHA to be completed within 90 days of hire.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

RN with at least 2 years of prior Endoscopy, ICU or ED nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Administering patient care in the Endoscopy Lab.
Performing a comprehensive range of procedures.
Utilizing the latest Endoscopy Technologies.
Participating in on-call duties, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
