Registered Nurse, (RN) - Home Health Visits
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to provide home health services to adult and geriatric clients on a per-visit basis throughout Mecklenburg County, working from the Charlotte Visits office. The role supports clients in remaining at home with comfort, independence, and dignity through compassionate, high-quality care. The position is full-time and offers a $5,000 hiring bonus. Base pay depends on qualifications and is listed as $54–$62 per point. Nurses receive training and scholarship opportunities, career tracks, and recognition for their work. Prior home care experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Hold a current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina.
- Have at least one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- Be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Have strong interpersonal skills.
- Have solid computer skills.
- Be able to travel to assigned cases.
Nice To Haves
- Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patients’ needs.
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
- Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform client assessments as necessary.
- Provide case management and coordination.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided using a touch pad tablet.
