About The Position

BAYADA Home Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide home health visits to adult and geriatric clients on a per-visit basis. The position serves clients in territories throughout Pitt and Martin counties through the Pitt County Visits office. The nurse helps clients receive required medical care at home while supporting their comfort, independence, and dignity. The role may be full time or part time. Base pay is $60–$63 per point, depending on qualifications.

Requirements

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• At least one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Nice To Haves

• Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with each patient's needs.
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Provide case management and coordination.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care management and services using a touch pad tablet.
