About The Position

At the Iowa Veterans Home (IVH) in Marshalltown, the team provides exceptional resident-centered care to Iowa’s Veterans and their spouses. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in honoring their service by ensuring they receive the highest quality of life and compassionate care. This role is for a dedicated, compassionate RN looking to lead, grow, and make a difference.

Requirements

Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.

Responsibilities

Provide and oversee licensed treatments for up to 30 residents.
Assess and evaluate resident conditions, take appropriate action, and adjust care plans.
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes.
Lead and mentor Resident Aides, CNAs, Medication Aides, and LPNs.
Respond to acute changes in residents with professionalism, skill, and compassion.
