Registered Nurse Neuro ICU
About The Position
Loyola University Medical Center is seeking Registered Nurses to provide critical care to neurology and neurosurgical patients in its 13-bed 2W Neuro ICU. The unit cares for patients with a wide range of conditions and surgical cases, including strokes, brain tumors, epilepsy, movement disorders, craniotomies, and spinal surgeries. As a comprehensive stroke center, the medical center provides specialized services intended to give patients the best chance at recovery. The team-oriented unit offers opportunities to manage diverse diagnoses and advance nursing skills. The role is a full-time, 12-hour night-shift position.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited school or college of nursing; BSN or ADN.
- BLS Provider certification accredited by the American Heart Association, required prior to hire.
- Illinois Board of Nursing license, required prior to hire.
