About The Position
MedSide Healthcare is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to perform OASIS start-of-care (SOC) assessments in the assigned Sandy Springs–North Fulton area. The role develops plans of treatment and provides skilled nursing services to patients in their homes in accordance with those plans and under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Home health experience is required. MedSide Healthcare provides in-home skilled nursing, rehabilitation, medical social services, personal support, and homemaker services. Its goal is to deliver care that supports patients’ dignity and independence.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved professional nursing program.
- Current Georgia RN license with no sanctions, restrictions, or provisions.
- One year of related experience in a clinical environment.
- Home health experience required.
Responsibilities
- Perform all OASIS SOC assessments in the assigned area.
- Develop plans of treatment and provide skilled nursing services to patients at home in accordance with those plans.
- Monitor patient progress, identify changes in status, and act on changes to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Provide routine nursing care using age-specific and universal precaution practices.
- Teach and train patients and their families.
- Apply nursing theory, techniques, principles, and practice to provide holistic patient care.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with staff, patients, and families.
- Comply with facility policies and procedures and uphold MedSide Healthcare’s expectations.
