About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is an important member of the interdisciplinary team and delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact. The RN provides care and services that support patients in attaining or maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes ongoing assessment of patient needs, revising care plans as patient conditions change, and providing clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
• Provide care and services to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Assess patient needs on an ongoing basis and revise care plans in response to changes in patient condition.
• Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.
• Implement and interpret the department’s programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
