About The Position

The Registered Nurse at Riverview Village provides nursing care that promotes residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. Nurses build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and contribute to a comforting, engaging atmosphere. The position involves medication management, resident assessments, accurate documentation of changes in condition, and coordinated care with nursing and other facility teams. The nurse is expected to demonstrate American Senior Communities’ C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence. Full-time and part-time night shifts are available.

Requirements

Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
Proficient medication management skills.
Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing skills.
Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
Manage medications.
Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values toward residents, family members, customers, and staff.
Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
