About The Position
The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, incorporating evidence-based practice. A key aspect of the role is continually improving nursing care quality by collecting and analyzing data. This position is with Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital’s Wound Care clinic in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. It is offered full-time or at .8 FTE (64 hours per pay period), with 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday and one weekday off.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
- Current BLS certification, or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Maintain specialty certification in accordance with the department’s scope of service.
- Current Heart Association ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification may be required based on the primary department.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Certification in the specialty desired.
- Ideally, at least three years practicing as an RN in a comparative setting.
