About The Position

The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care using evidence-based practice. A key aspect of the role is continually improving nursing care quality by collecting and analyzing data. The position is with the Wound Care Clinic at Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, with occasional day shifts as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
• Current BLS certification or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
• Maintain specialty certification as required by the department’s scope of service.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification may be required depending on the primary department.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in a nursing specialty desired.
• Ideally, at least three years practicing as an RN in a comparable setting.
