About The Position

VCU Health at Home by BAYADA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Baylor Registered Nurse to provide per-visit home health care to adult and geriatric clients throughout the Richmond, Virginia area. Home health experience is required in the opening description, though the qualifications section says prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required. Premium rates are offered for Baylor schedules of Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday. Requirements

• Hold a current Registered Nurse license in Virginia.
• Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• Be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Have strong interpersonal skills.
• Have solid computer skills.
• Be able to travel to assigned cases.

Nice To Haves

• Prior home care experience is described as strongly preferred but not required in the qualifications section.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient needs.
• Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories.
• Administer medications and provide wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Provide case management and coordination.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care and services using a touch pad tablet.
