About The Position

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 3AC Medical Inpatient Innovation Unit. This is a part-time, benefit-eligible position working 24 hours per week on days from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with weekend-only work. The role is eligible for a sign-on bonus for external candidates only. The RN is responsible and accountable for providing comprehensive direct nursing care from patient admission through discharge. As an on-shift team member, the RN provides direct care to meet the needs of patients, families, and coworkers. The Innovation Unit, also known as 3AC, is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots new ideas for the hospital. Nurses care for patients with a wide range of medical diagnoses and conditions. The unit offers new graduate LPNs and RNs an opportunity to begin their nursing careers alongside experienced nurses who share their expertise. The position offers self-scheduling, premium pay for weekend-only shifts, and a schedule requiring work on one summer holiday and one winter holiday only. Requirements

Current Indiana or compact-state RN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities
