RN Weekend Only Days Medical Inpatient
About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 3AC Medical Inpatient Innovation Unit. The nurse provides and is accountable for comprehensive direct nursing care from patient admission through discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The Innovation Unit, also known as 3AC, is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots new ideas for the hospital. Nurses care for a wide range of medical diagnoses and conditions. The unit offers new graduate LPNs and RNs an opportunity to begin their nursing careers alongside experienced nurses who share their expertise. This is a part-time, 24-hour-per-week, day-shift position working weekends only. The schedule is 7 a.m.–7 p.m., with self-scheduling. Weekend-only shifts receive premium pay. The role works one summer and one winter holiday. The position is benefit eligible and eligible for a sign-on bonus for external candidates only. Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact-state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
