About The Position

The Registered Nurse will work in UW Health’s Ambulatory Float Pool, supporting clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. The role provides opportunities to work with varied patient populations and clinic locations as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals. The nurse uses critical thinking, including when triaging phone calls, and supports preventive and specialized care, healthy lifestyles, wellness, patient education, and chronic condition management and education.

This is a 60% FTE position, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. There are no weekends or holidays. Hours are based on departmental operational needs.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.
• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact, required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification, required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Relevant RN experience.
• Applicable clinical certification.
