About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed care to patients and families using the principles and practices of the nursing process. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and works with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. This role is in the Emergency Department. The position offers a $30,000 sign-on bonus for experienced new hires. The Work Plan states that employees work 36 hours and are paid for 48.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or a recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Ability to perform the physical and mental functions described in the job posting, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds unassisted, and dealing effectively with stressful situations.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
