Registered Nurse - Field Assessor - Monroe, LA
About The Position
LHC Group is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse Field Assessor in Monroe, Louisiana. The role involves completing hands-off Long Term Care insurance assessments. Assessors gather claimant demographics, physician information, and current medication lists, and evaluate claimants’ functional independence. The assessment also includes a brief cognitive screening and an evaluation of the claimant’s ability to complete activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). The ideal candidate is technologically capable and can use a point-of-care web application on a laptop or tablet to document information in real time. Visits are assigned according to patient and business needs. Compensation includes per-visit-point pay for visits and hourly pay for certain non-visit activities, such as orientation. Requirements
- Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
- Proven ability to function in any home situation regardless of the client’s age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
- Ability to use a point-of-care web application on a laptop or tablet for real-time documentation.
- Candidates must pass a drug test before beginning employment.
