About The Position
LHC Group is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse Field Assessor in Peoria, Arizona, to complete long-term care insurance assessments. The hands-off assessments involve collecting claimant demographics, physician information, and a current medication list, and evaluating the claimant’s functional independence. The process also includes a brief cognitive screening and evaluation of the claimant’s ability to complete activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). The role requires using a point-of-care web application on a laptop or tablet to document assessment information in real time. The position is not eligible for benefits. Requirements
- Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of the client’s age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
- Technological savvy and ability to use a point-of-care web application or system on a laptop or tablet for real-time documentation.
