RN PRN Tier II - Progressive Care Unit
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver and member of a multidisciplinary health care team. The RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during a designated time frame and supervises and provides care using the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self. The RN follows established policies and procedures, communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors, and provides excellent customer service when interacting with staff, management, and physicians. The role applies Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional core values of quality, service, efficiency, integrity, safety, professionalism, teamwork, and compassion.
Requirements
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
- Obtain ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
- Complete a Critical Care course within 6 months of hire.
