About The Position
Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is seeking an experienced PRN Oncology Registered Nurse to provide coverage across its infusion centers in West Valley and Scottsdale. The role supports patient care at different locations as needed and suits nurses who value flexible scheduling and thrive in dynamic, collaborative, team-based environments. The nurse delivers chemotherapy and infusion treatments, monitors patients for reactions, maintains patient-care and safety standards, documents care in EMR systems, and follows PPE and other safety protocols.
Requirements
- Active Arizona RN license.
- ONS Chemo/Bio Certification or OCN.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in outpatient oncology or infusion nursing.
- Comfort with varying workflows and patient volumes.
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset.
- Reliability and ability to travel between locations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective chemotherapy and infusion treatments.
- Monitor patients for reactions and intervene appropriately.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
- Adapt quickly to different clinic environments and teams.
- Document accurately within EMR systems.
- Uphold PPE and safety protocols at all times.
- Provide coverage across infusion center locations as needed.
