1:1 Pediatric Home Care - Evening Registered Nurse
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for evening pediatric home care cases in Atlantic and Cape May counties, New Jersey. Cases include low-acuity care as well as tracheostomy and ventilator care. The nurse provides one-to-one skilled nursing in a client’s home, with training and onboarding provided. Client ages range from infants to older adults, and nurses may work traditional shifts of 4, 8, 10, or 12 hours. Scheduling is flexible, with no minimum hours stated; full-time, part-time, and per-diem arrangements are available. The nurse travels to one client home near them on a chosen schedule, follows and documents physicians’ orders, assesses and monitors clients’ conditions, and documents observations, interventions, and evaluations. The position offers autonomy in providing home-based care and an opportunity to build relationships with clients and observe their milestones.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
