About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking Registered Nurses to join their team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX. This role is on a 38-bed telemetry monitored nursing unit specializing in Oncology/Hematology, caring for adult to geriatric patients with a wide variety of conditions including Medical Oncology, High Dose Chemotherapy with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant, CAR T Cell Therapy, Administration of Chemotherapy, Biotherapy, and Monoclonal Antibodies, Surgical Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, Administration of Radiation Therapy, Hematologic Disorders, and Continuous Cardiac Monitoring (Telemetry).
Requirements
- Graduation from an Accredited Program
- Specialized field of study should be nursing
- RN license
- Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients ranging in age from Adults to Geriatrics.
- Manage patients with conditions including Medical Oncology, High Dose Chemotherapy with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant, CAR T Cell Therapy, Administration of Chemotherapy, Biotherapy, and Monoclonal Antibodies, Surgical Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, Administration of Radiation Therapy, Hematologic Disorders (Sickle Cell Crisis, Aplastic Anemia, Thalassemia, Thrombocytopenia), and Continuous Cardiac Monitoring (Telemetry).
