Our team provides care to the following patient population: benign and malignant hematology, malignant solid tumors, gastrointestinal disorders, rheumatology, neurology, pulmonary, allergy and immunology. We are looking for nurses with at least 1 year of acute care experience preferred with Chemo experience as a plus! FT/Days-Relocation Incentive Available! Nursing skills gained: Symptom Management of Disease Process Care Navigation and care management. Utilize tools for Prior Authorization, Insurance risk/denial, work with all disciplines of healthcare for patient care needs. Critical thinking skills Peripheral IV and Vascular Access Device skills Patient and family education Unit Successes/Designations/National recognition: Commission on Cancer Care- COC accreditation. Magnet NCI Designated (National Cancer Institute) QOPI certified (Quality Oncology Practice Initiatives) Outstanding patient experience scores Unit Culture Highlights: ONC Certification 12 CEUs annually Fosters an environment for learning and professional development Great physician/RN relationships Works autonomously with care team Support from team members in the form of precepting and mentoring Participation in Shared Governance structure

Requirements

  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • minimum of one year of RN experience
  • at least 1 year of acute care experience preferred

  • Chemo experience as a plus!
