About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families by developing, implementing, reassessing, evaluating, and revising plans of care. The RN creates patient-specific plans based on psychosocial and physiological assessments, patients’ cultural, ethical, and spiritual needs, trends among similar patients, and physicians’ orders. The role integrates nursing knowledge, skills, and experience to support patients and families throughout the continuum of care, including education, and follows nursing regulations, standards, and Franciscan Alliance processes and procedures. This is a full-time night position on the Geriatric Psych Unit, scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville Campus in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Nursing/Patient Care.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State Licensing Board in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, if required by the unit.

Responsibilities

- Incorporate nursing regulations and standards, and Franciscan Alliance processes and procedures, into daily practice.
