About The Position
Franciscan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 21-bed rehabilitation unit at the Indianapolis Campus. The RN provides comprehensive care to patients and their families, including developing and implementing plans of care and reassessing and evaluating each patient. Nurses actively listen to and assess patients, helping ensure they feel seen, heard, and cared for. Typical patient ratios are 1:5. Patients include people recovering from strokes and amputations, as well as cardiac and oncology patients. The role is full-time on the night shift, with alternating weekends and rotating holidays.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state or under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Be team-oriented and willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
- Experienced and new graduate nurses are welcome.
