About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for the PACU at an acute care hospital in Santa Rosa, California. The assignment is offered for 13 or 18 weeks, with two openings. Weekly pay is $2,532, including a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,743 per week where eligible. Available schedules include evening shifts (five 8-hour shifts, 14:00–22:00), day shifts (five 8-hour shifts, 11:00–19:00), and day shifts (four 10-hour shifts, 11:00–23:00). In Pre/Post, start times vary according to the assigned area, beginning at 06:00 and staggered through 08:30; flexibility in scheduling is needed. The posting also notes overtime rules of 1.3% for hours beyond 8 regular hours in a day or 40 regular hours in a week.
Requirements
- Active California RN license (compact license accepted where applicable); pending license accepted.
- At least 1 year of recent PACU experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS required if caring for pediatric patients.
- Flexible schedule for variable Pre/Post start times.
