About The Position
Trellis Supportive Care is hiring a PRN/per diem Hospice Registered Nurse for the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The role provides compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care to patients and support to their families. The position is scheduled for day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with weekend shift differential pay. Trellis Supportive Care is a not-for-profit hospice organization serving patients and families across the Piedmont/Triad region.
Requirements
- Current North Carolina RN license
- Charge RN experience
- Excellent nursing assessment and critical thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and families
- Ability to cope with emotional stress and respect diverse lifestyles
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
- Commitment to the core values of Patient & Family Commitment, Teamwork, Professionalism, and Communication
- Annual flu vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions are considered
