About The Position

Comfort Hospice is hiring a PRN / per diem Hospice RN to provide care throughout the Pahrump area. The nurse serves as a trusted case manager, delivering care to patients in their homes and communities and guiding families through care decisions. The role focuses on comfort, dignity, compassionate support, and meaningful end-of-life care. Requirements

• Current RN license in the State of Arizona.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient-centered care.
• Ability to work independently and a passion for making a real difference.

Nice To Haves

• Hospice or home health experience preferred.
• Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive assessments of patients and families to determine hospice needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, revising them as needed.
• Provide skilled nursing care, administer medications, and manage symptoms.
• Educate patients and families on care techniques, medications, and comfort measures.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate changes to physicians.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
• Supervise hospice aides and delegate responsibilities appropriately.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
