About The Position
The Registered Nurse – 2 North Ortho is responsible and accountable for providing direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients from admission through discharge. The nurse reviews and documents care provided, patient outcomes, and evaluations of care; follows professional standards of care; prioritizes care according to changing assessments and patient needs; and communicates on an ongoing basis with physicians and other hospital departments.
Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Obtain Crisis Prevention certification within 6 months of hire.

- Recent experience in the specialty.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
Responsibilities
