Registered Nurse (Per Diem) - L&D Night - $63.50/hr - Polson, MT
About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a per diem Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for an acute care hospital in Polson, Montana. The nurse will cover all areas of obstetrics, including newborn care in a Level 1 nursery, at a critical access facility. Two L&D nurses staff each night shift, making reliability important. Shifts are pre-booked with managers and will not be canceled once booked. Per diem clinicians in Montana are required to work two shifts per month. On-site rooms can be reserved in advance, and candidates from any distance are considered. The position pays $63.50 per hour and has a night shift scheduled as one 12-hour shift, 19:00–07:30. The stated start date is November 16, 2026. Charting is done in Epic, and medications are administered via Pyxis.
Requirements
- Active Montana RN license; compact license accepted where applicable.
- At least 2 years of recent L&D/LDRP experience.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- NRP certification.
