About The Position
Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 2-South Medical/Surgical Unit in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. This is a Flexi/PRN role on the night shift. The 24-bed unit serves adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients, including medical or gynecologic overflow patients. Cases include abdominal, endoscopic, ENT, general, gynecologic, ophthalmic, orthopedic, thoracic, urologic, vascular, and plastic surgeries. Medical patients may be admitted with CHF, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, atrial fibrillation, or chest pain. The position requires a degree or diploma in registered nursing and a registered nursing license. Students completing an accredited nursing program or in the process of obtaining a registered nursing license may also be considered. BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire. No experience is required. The base pay range stated for full-time employment is $41.93–$61.01 per hour; additional compensation may be available, and pay within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
Requirements
